BINTULU: Sarawak embraces an inclusive development policy that encompasses the diverse racial fabric of the state, ensuring that every community’s interests are prioritised.

Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan said that in line with Sarawak’s commitment to justice and equality, the government steadfastly considers the needs of both majority and minority ethnic groups in their development strategies.

“In our planning, we emphasise the significance of holistic development rather than concentrating efforts in one area.

“Our approach recognizes the rich social tapestry of Sarawak, that promotes tolerance and acceptance among all residents.

“To further strengthen unity, harmony, and equality in politics, we seek the active participation of everyone,” he said during the Pemimpin bersama Ummah dinner at Promenade Hotel on Sunday (Oct 29).

On another note, he said the Sarawak government is dedicated to land surveying in traditional villages across the state.

He urged community leaders in Bintulu to collaborate with the government by identifying traditional village lands in need of surveying and promptly informing the authorities.
