KUCHING: The Sarawak’s Pride project organisers have received more than 700 submissions to date and the target to achieve 1,000 stories appears achievable as more Sarawakians and non-Sarawakians share their stories.

With just five days remaining to the closing date for submissions, Yayasan Perpaduan Sarawak chief executive Datuk Aloysius J Dris appealed to people from all walks of life to take the opportunity to be part of the event which will be historic for Sarawak’s unity and harmony in diversity.

“We are very happy with the support shown by everyone and we look forward to receiving many more interesting stories,” he said.

For those interested to submit their short stories, they may do so via e-mail to sarawakpride@gmail.com, by filling up an online form at the YPS’s website at www.yps.org.my/sarawakpride, or by sending a submission to the SDI WhatsApp number at 013-671 8063.

Follow updates on this project via the website and social media (Facebook and Instagram) with the #sarawakpride hashtag.
