Sarikei MP dishes out MRP grants

SARIKEI: Eight Village Security and Development Committees (JKKK) in Meradong received Minor Rural Project (MRP) grants from Sarikei MP Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii.

The recepients are JKKK Rumah (Rh) Kinchu Ulu Mador Meradong, JKKK Kampung (Kpg) Sungai Belau Meradong, JKKK Rh Ranggi Batu 7 Jln KJD Meradong, JKKK Rh Rentap Sungai Rayah Bintangor, JKKK Demai Sungai Lelabi, JKKK Kpg Tunjang Sungai Lelabi Meradong, JKKK Rh Liong Ulu Binatang, and JKKK Rh Bala Anak Gawan Sungai Emperan.

The contributions were delivered during Huang’s visit to 28 longhouses in the Meradong area yesterday (Jan 10).

Huang, who serves as the Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment and the Repok Assemblyman, thanked the people for their support in the recent elections.

He assured that he is now fulfilling his promise to return to the area and visit the local residents.

Despite his current duties in Kuala Lumpur as a deputy minister, Huang stressed his commitment to serve the people in his constituency effectively.

During the visit, he took the opportunity to minggle with the local community and listen to their concerns.

Among the longhouses Huang visited were Rh Kinchu Ak Ajan, Rh Cherida Ak Igu, Rh Ranggi Ak Selang, Rh Jalang Ak Embuas, Rh Rentap Ak Brasap, Rh Pantieng Ak Janting and Rh Loretta Demai Ak Chukan.

Additionally, he visited Rh Bajut Ak Jimbai, Rh Suda Ak Ason, Rh Ningkan Ak Tabun, Rh Tunjang Ak Naga and Rh Paula Ak Benet.

The list also includes Rh Lawi Chong, Rh Jantan Ak Minggan, Rh Embuan Ak Taji, Rh Isu Ak Maleng, Rh Antin Ak Aling, Rh Peria Ak Kubok, Rh Liong Ak Ensali, Rh Senaun Ak Usar, Rh Lipa Ak Banjang, Rh Bala Ak Gawan, Rh Lampong Ak Seruji, Rh Sina Ak Kalai, Rh Mary Ak Juwin, Rh Sembambu Ak Seli, Rh Icha Ak Engkih and Rh Michael Ak Thomas.
