MUKAH: The Sarawak Education Department and Mukah District Education Department yesterday jointly visited Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) St Patrick here to conduct a surprised monitoring of standard operating procedures (SOPs) at the school.
Some officers from Mukah District Education office accompanied officials from the state education headquarters during the visit.
School principal Anthony Poon Teck Huat was on hand to welcome the visitors.
Both officials from the state and district education officers were happy and satisfied with the preparations by the school and Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) as well as level of compliance to the SOP guidelines by teachers and students during lessons and school hours.
They praised the school and PTA for providing the necessary arrangement in compliance with SOP and guidelines laid by the Ministry of Education.
