School receives RM201,570 state fund

SRI AMAN: SJK(C) Chung Hua Simanggang school management board is urged to be prudent when spending funds to develop the school.

Community Wellbeing Assistant Minister Datuk Francis Harden made the call when presenting a cheque for RM201,570 to the school here, yesterday.

“The money is to upgrade the school’s infrastructure facilities.

“This allocation is from the Sarawak government that cares for the education of children whether in the mainstream or national-type schools,” he said.

The cheque was received by the school’s management board chairman Temenggong Kueh Aik Seng.
