School to buy new mattresses with donation

SPAOH: SK Spaoh expresses appreciation and thanks to the Association of Malaysian Malay Vehicle Importers and Dealers Association (Pekema) Sarawak Branch for contributing RM7,000 to the school.

The donation cheque was presented by a Pekema representative to Widyawati Sulaiman, the senior assistant teacher in-charge of Special Education yesterday.

Widyawati, representing the school headmaster, told the Pekema representative that the money would be used to buy new mattresses to replace those already in bad shape.

She thanked Pekema president Tan Sri Abang Khalid Abang Marzuki for having the welfare of the pupils of the schools.

She noted that last year Pekema also helped the school by giving food and stationery supplies to pupils of the school.

She went on to reveal that Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas had donated tables and chairs earlier this year.
