KUCHING: Scout Eco Run 3.0, organised by the Scout Association of Malaysia Sarawak Branch, will be held on July 14.
It will feature two events, with the Matang Warrior Rainforest Challenge held at Matang Camp and the 3 kilometre trail run held simultaneously in all 34 scout districts statewide.
Sarawak Scout Council president Tan Sri William Mawan Ikom said registration forms can be obtained from the scout headquarters during office hours and also from Scout Association of Malaysia Sarawak Branch‘s Telegram Messenger application soon.
The run will feature four categories – 3 km (for 12 years and below) 6 km (jungle trail for 13 years and above), 12 km(jungle trail for 18 years and above) and 30km (jungle trail for 18 years and above) and for men and women in the 12km and 30km run.
Prizes will be offered to the top 10 finishers and all participants are entitled to t-shirts, medals and refreshments.
