KUCHING: Sarawak Community Policing Association (SCPA) members, as part of efforts to help fight crime, distributed crime prevention leaflets to residents along Jalan Semaba here recently.

Led by its chairman Datuk John Lau, the volunteers were joined by members of the area’s neighbourhood watch committee.

While distributing the leaflets, members of SCPA also took the opportunity to discuss crime prevention strategies with the neighbourhood.

According to Lau, SCPA volunteers had recently also conducted joint patrols with the police in several parts of Kuching District.

He said SCPA would continue to champion working with the police in pursuit of building a safer neighbourhood.
