KUCHING: The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) has been praised for its outstanding management of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Datuk Rodzi Md Saad, the director-general of the National Security Council (MKN), shared that Sarawak also had done an exemplary job in rolling out its vaccination programme.
“The NSC is very thankful for the full support and cooperation given by the Sarawak government,” he said during a courtesy call on Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Unggah Embas, who is also the SDMC chairman, here today.
Rodzi added that he looked forward to bringing the support and cooperation to even greater heights in the future.
“The continuous strong ties between the federal and state government will augur well for the safety of our people, our economy and our security.
“We must complement each other for the greater good of national interest.”
