MARUDI: A 15-year-old boy is missing and feareddrowned while bathing in a river at Long Meraan here on Monday (Mar 8).
The State Fire and Rescue Department, in a statement, said the department received a distress call on the boy’s disappearance at 10.50am yesterday (Mar 9), prompting a search-and-rescue (SAR) operation to be mounted.
On Monday (Mar 8), the boy, Ronia Bajut, was said to have gone to Sungai Tutoh-Marudi around 5.30pm but failed to return home.
