Second booster dose booking opens

KUCHING: Only 23,397 of the eligible population in Sarawak have received their second COVID-19 booster dose as of last July 23.

According to the Ministry of Health’s COVIDNOW website, the figure equals 0.8 per cent of the total population in the state.

For that matter as of July 23, a total of 1,577,067 or 55.8 per cent eligible population have received their first booster dose.

Apart from that, members of the public who are eligible to receive the second COVID-19 booster dose can now book their appointments via the MySejahtera application.

According to MySejahtera in an announcement on Facebook, it said the booking link for the second COVID-19 booster dose has been released to individuals who are eligible.

To access the booking link, the public need to update their MySejahtera application to the latest version (version 2.0.3), and followed by updating their personal details in the app.

Next, is to open the COVID-19 vaccination page to view the second COVID-19 booster dose booking link.

It also said that only the Pfizer type vaccines are given for second booster doses at the moment.
