SIMANGGANG: The second Covid-19 Quarantine and Low-Risk Treatment Centre of the Sri Aman Hospital at Taman Harmoni Community Hall is set to open on Wednesday (June 23).

A representative of the Public Works Department (JKR), Sri Aman Division, Nurul Ain Razali handed over the keys symbolically to the chairman of the hall management committee, Ahmad Alwi Kipli, who subsequently handed them over to the deputy director of the Sri Aman Hospital, Dr Sim Poh Ling.

The brief symbolic handover ceremony was witnessed by the Sri Aman Division Disaster Management Committee advisor Datuk Francis Harden Hollis.

“We have worked hard to get the Quarantine and Low-Risk Treatment Centre ready,” said Harden.

“I am very concerned about the smooth upgrading of this community hall, taking into account the requirements of the people regardless of political background, and ensuring that they receive the finest service. That is why I go out to the field virtually every week to check on the project’s progress.”
