KUCHING: The SEDC Energy (SEDCE) and Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) have distributed 600 packs of savoury porridge at the PETROS Multifuel Station (MFS) Darul Hana today (April 2).

The event saw SEDCE and Bomba personnel working side by side to prepare the porridge, symbolising the spirit of togetherness and mutual support.

The initiative was well received by representatives from various local communities, including Kampung Darul Hana Block A, Kampung Bintawa Tengah, Kampung Bintawa Hulu, and Kampung Bintawa Hilir, who attended the event, showcasing the wide-reaching impact of this endeavour.

In a statement, the organisers expressed their vision for the PETROS MFS Station to serve as a community hub, fostering gatherings and interactions among nearby residents.

“As Sarawak’s very own brand, we aim for the community to take pride in our presence.

“Through initiatives like the Ramadan porridge distribution, we are dedicated to uplifting and serving the local community, particularly during this holy month,” it said.
