SIBU: SEGi University, clinical campus in Sibu will hold their open day 2022 tomorrow at Permai Lake Garden. The open day is open to the public from 9am to 4.30pm.
In conjunction with the open day, SEGi University will have various programmes running throughout the day:-
According to SEGi University’s Faculty of Medicine dean Prof Dr Mohd Raili Suhaili, in a press statement, the programmes include international food fair, charity food fair, live music and dances and family fun day.
Touching on international food fair, he said the food would be prepared by SEGi University’s medical students from all over the world for sale to the public.
He stated there will be food from 15 countries around the world ranging from Syria, Afghanistan to India and beyond.
“Interactive booths will be set up and health screening will be provided together with career counselling on pursuing a science degree at SEGi. All registrants for a degree at SEGi will receive a free gift,” he said.
On charity food sale, there will also be many stalls set up for sale of food in aid of Palliative Care Association Sibu (PCS), he said, adding all proceeds from the food sale will be donated to PCS.
He said SEGi’s medical students will be performing live music and international dances throughout the day at the event.
“Families are encouraged to come and spend the day with SEGi as there will be games and a water bouncing castle for entertainment,” Dr Raili added.
