KUCHING: Barring any unfortunate circumstance, the construction of Selangau District Office should be completed by the end of next month.
Tamin assemblyman Christopher Gira Sambang made this known in a Facebook post yesterday (April 13).
He and representatives from the implementing agency had visited the site to check on the project status.
“The construction is now in its final phase and is expected to be completed soon.
“This project is one of the people-centric projects approved by Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg during his walkabout on May 5, 2018.
“Implemented in the second quarter of 2019 the project is now more than 90 percent done,” he said.
“The new district office should be a source of pride of the people of Selangau, Tamin and the civil servants working in it,” he said.
Besides visiting the district office, Christopher also visited Selangau Waterfront and Jalan Pasai Siong projects.
