KUALA LUMPUR: A second-half penalty by Selangor FC 2 import player George Attram denied Sarawak United FC the chance to consolidate their position atop the Premier League standings after both teams drew 1-1 at the Manjung Municipal Council in Perak today.

Sarawak United FC had earlier gone ahead through their own import player, Uche Agba, who received a pass from Lee Changhoon before slotting the ball home in the third minute of injury time in the first half.

However, Selangor FC 2 needed just four minutes to level the scores when the game resumed in the second half, with Attram calmly scoring from the penalty spot after Sarawak United FC defender Muhamad Zahril Azri Zabri was penalised for handball.

After 11 matches, Sarawak United FC have collected 24 points, just two ahead of second-placed Negri Sembilan FC. – Bernama
