KUCHING: A three-day seminar organised by the Sarawak Islamic Information Centre (IIC) in collaboration with RISEAP (Regional Islamic Da’wah Council of Southeast Asia and the Pacific) is aimed at ‘Developing Inspiring Young Muslim Leaders’.

The event is participated by 39 Muslim millennials from Cambodia, Thailand, Maldives, Myanmar, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia.

Sarawak IIC believes that the seminar is an excellent platform not only to discuss and deliberate on current issues relating to Muslims but also showcase Sarawak as a model state in terms of unity and harmony among the people.

A sharing session was made on the first day yesterday by Sarawak IIC CEO Zabariah Matali and an introduction to RISEAP was presented by secretary-general Mohd Marzuki Umar.
