MIRI: A series of seminars will be held across Sarawak to bring more clarity to legal provisions on strata management and maintenance.
Over 500 stakeholders registered for the ‘Your Essential Guide to Strata Management and Maintenance in Sarawak’ seminar which was officiated by Deputy Premier Dr Sim Kui Hian here on Monday.
Similar seminars will also be held in Bintulu, Sibu and Kuching in a joint effort by the Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers’ Association, the Ministry of Public Health, Housing and Local Government and Land and Survey Department.
It is aimed at explaining salient points and guide stakeholders through relevant provisions of the Strata Management Ordinance 2019, Strata (Management and Maintenance) Regulations 2022 and the Strata (Subsidiary Titles) Ordinance 2019, which came into effect earlier this year.
The session in Bintulu ( contact Yek Leh Ting 016 807 3450/ Hanson Ling 019 814 0150 ) will be held on August 24 and 25 whereas the session in Sibu (contact Cecil Lau 016 870 6736/ Vanessa Yong 016 890 8521) will be held on September 5 to 6.
