MIRI: The DUN Senadin Service Centre Mobile Service 2U Team, led by Cr Jeffery Phang on behalf of Senadin assemblyman, Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin, recently conducted a meet-the-people session at coffee shops in Morsjaya.

The session was part of the weekly “Mobile Service2U” programme.

The team included councillors, Kapitan, youth and women leaders from SUPP Senadin, namely, Cr Kueh Chie Tiong, Cr Toh Kah Shiong, Cr Ernest Goh and Kapitan Chong Khee Fah.

Phang led the team to engage with the public and stall owners, gathering feedback on various issues.

Residents also approached the team to discuss concerns in their residential areas which the councillors pledged to address with the Miri City Council.

Phang and the other councilors, who were members of various standing committees in Miri City Council, also inspected the coffee shops for basic hygiene and sanitation, food safety and overall environment quality.

During the walkabout session, the team reminded the public of the importance of health awareness, especially during the current hot and hazy weather.
