MIRI: The Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) Senadin Service Centre Mobile Service 2U Team, led by Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin, conducted a walkabout meet-the-people session at the food court of Papa & Son Coffee Shop and neighbouring coffee shops in Tudan here as part of its weekly ‘Mobile Service2U’ programme.

The team, consisting of councillors, youth, and women leaders from Senadin SUPP, including Cr Yap Siew Jin, Cr Toh Kah Shiong, and Kapitan Chai Kuen Ming, engaged with the public on Monday (Jan 22) at coffee shops and food courts to gather feedback on any issues affecting them.

During the session, members of the public personally approached Lee, who is the Senadin assemblyman, and councillors to address concerns related to their residential areas.

Issues raised included water supply disruptions at the shop areas, clogged drains, and roads in need of resurfacing.

Lee instructed the councillors to take up the relevant issues with the Miri City Council, while he pledged to address the water supply issue with the LAKU Management Bhd.
