KUCHING: Senari Synergy Group of Companies and its staff donated cattle to the villages here and Tanjung Manis for the annual Hari Raya Aidiladha qurban (ritual animal sacrifice) programme last Sunday (July 10).
The villages were Kampung Sungai Midin, Kampung Bintawa Tengah and Kampung Goebilt in Kuching, Kampung Taee in Serian, and in Tanjung Manis.
Group managing director Jefri Ahmad Tambi said: “At Senari Synergy, we believe in sharing our blessings with those who are less fortunate.”
“Hence, we have been conducting this activity every year,” he added. “Meat was distributed to the hardcore poor, the disabled, Muslim converts, among others.”
Jefri expressed his appreciation to the penghulu, village chiefs, committee members, and residents of Kampung Sungai Midin, Kampung Goebilt, Kampung Bintawa Tengah, and Urusetia Saudara Kita, Bukar Taee for ensuring the success of the programme.
