KAPIT: The committee members of Pertubuhan Pusat Khidmat Warga Mas Kapit recently paid a goodwill visit to their counterpart in Song for a one-day activity organised by Pertubuhan Pusat Khidmat Warga Mas Song entitled “Senior Got Talent”.
The visit was led by Social Welfare Officer in charge of Pusat Khidmat Warga Mas Jemat Kanchin from the Kapit Office Social Welfare Department.
Meanwhile, the committee members from Kapit was led by chairman Temenggong Wilfred Billy Panyau accompanied by Pemanca Yong Thu Fook, Penghulu Wong Kie Ing, Penghulu Abang Hamzah Bolhassan, Penghulu Madang Jelani and Kapitan Neo Kei Hoe.
Among the activities held included ice-breaking session, mini sports, buffet dinner, karaoke and talent show presented by the members from both Kapit and Song. It was attended by some sixty members.
In his brief remark Temenggong Wilfred thanked their counterparts in Song for the invite
to take part in their activity.
He recalled that this was the second time that members from Kapit visited Song. They also paid a similar visit to Song in 2018.
He added that the purpose of the visit was to make friends among the elders and to interact with one another in goodwill
spirit.
