KUCHING: Senior Minister (Infrastructure Cluster) Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof has recovered after testing positive for Covid-19 earlier this month.
In a Facebook post on Friday (June 25), he said he had returned to work after being released from quarantine.
Fadillah said his health condition was good and he did not have any symptoms throughout quarantine.
“I did a screening test on the sixth day of quarantine and it was confirmed negative for Covid-19.
“However, I still complied with the standard operating procedures (SOPs) by continuing to undergo quarantine until released from the actual quarantine period by the Covid-19 Assessment Centre (CAC).
“After being released from quarantine, I took the initiative by doing another screening test last Tuesday and was again confirmed negative for Covid-19.
“It is also a routine screening test that our office makes almost every week during the pandemic,” he said.
At the same time, the Petra Jaya MP also thanked the public for their prayers and well wishes.
“Let us all continue to abide by the set SOPs and for those who have not yet registered for vaccination, please register immediately,” he said.
On June 11, Fadillah tested positive for Covid-19 following a routine test conducted at his office.
In a statement, his ministry said the minister had consistently undergone testing from time to time and up to June 3, received negative test results.
