KUALA LUMPUR: Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd has provided personal protective equipment (PPE) and other medical supplies including over 100,000 pieces of face masks, hand sanitisers and infrared thermometers worth up to RM1.0 million to five hospitals since March 28 to combat the Covid-19 pandemic in Malaysia.

The five hospitals are Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya (PPUM), Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz, Hospital Serdang, Hospital Selayang and Hospital Sungai Buloh, said the integrated engineering services provider in a statement today.

“As it is uncertain how long the spread of the virus will continue, it is crucial that as a responsible corporate citizen, that we chip in to alleviate the current situation,” its group managing director and group chief executive director Datuk Dr Mohd Karim Abdullah said.

The company had also provided packed lunch and dinner for 100 people at PPUM for seven days from March 25 in appreciation of the hospital’s hard-working medical staff.

“We do not know how long the pandemic will last, or if we will be hit by another wave of the virus. Whatever it may be, Serba Dinamik will always be prepared and ready to continue to support the hospitals with equipment, supplies or necessities needed in the future,” he said. – Bernama
