Seri Kembangan Borneo Market receives facelift

KUCHING: The Seri Kembangan Borneo Market in Selangor which is home to traders from Sabah and Sarawak to sell products unique to their states has received a facelift.

This was in terms of new canopies for the trader which was contributed by deputy transport minister and Limbang MP Hasbi Habibollah.

Hasbi who was on his walkabout at the market today congratulated the traders from Sabah and Sarawak for the facelift to their market.

“I am happy and proud to see all of you who despite being far from home, can conduct business here and help our people by introducing Sarawak to a wider audience.

“This is as well as to help Sarawakians living here to obtain products which are exclusively available in the state,” he said.

Meanwhile, Sibuti MP Lukanisman Awang Sauni who was also present during the walkabout also presented a donation of RM3,000 to the Seri Kembangan Borneo Market Association.

“I thank Hasbi for his efforts to transform the look of the market and I pray that all of traders here will see continue to have a steady stream of income.

“My hope is only that for Sarawakians and Sabahans to take care of the image of our two states and I also take the opportunity on behalf of the people in Sibuti to present a donation of RM3,000 to the association,” he said.
