SERIAN: The Serian International Remote Control Carnival has thrilled folk here yet again, and this time with even more international participation.
The fifth edition drew 154 participants from Dubai, Thailand, Brunei, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Indonesia, and Peninsular Malaysia, with eight categories contested.

Minister for Education, Innovation and Talent Development, Datuk Roland Sagah Wee Inn lauded the organisation of such a programme and remarked that it could help promote Serian as a top tourist spot, particularly for remote control tournaments.
The winner of the competition, Gas Team Power, took home RM7,000 and was crowned ‘King of Danu Serian 2022’ last Sunday (Dec 4).
The carnival was also enlivened by performances from local artistes such as Timothy, Eyqa Saiful, Claudia Geres, Ramles Walter, Snipers, The Zeus and Collin (C.M.D.) and The Gang, as well as cultural performances.
