SIBU: New Kanowit OCPD (Officer in Charge of Police District) deputy superintendent Tega Bilong has called on all police personnel to continue providing good service to the people regardless of their race, religion and social background.

Speaking after receiving the duty file from his predecessor ASP Mohd Faizal Nawi yesterday, Tega, 49, urged them to safeguard peace and harmony in the district.

He also urged them to execute their work with responsibility and high integrity in compliance with the instructions from the nation’s police chief.
