SIBU: Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Sibu Jaya Service Centre is now officially open to the public.

The centre was declared open by the party’s branch chairman Wong Ching Yong here on Monday night (Sept 21).

Wong also announced that Benjamin Tian Chin Fatt, the branch youth chief, was the chairman of the service centre.

At the same time, Wong also announced that the office hours of community leaders at the service centre are from 8am to 11am every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

In addition, the service centre is also open daily to the public from 9am to 3pm to serve the local residents.

During the dialogue session, a fellow voter said that in order to effectively convey the sentiments of the people, it was necessary for a Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) representative to be in the Sarawak Legislative Assembly for the betterment of the people in Dudong constituency.

He hoped that the voters in Dudong would fully support Wong the potential candidate from SUPP under GPS.

Wong, the chairman of the branch, also distributed Kenyalang Gold Cards to a group of elderly people.

The Kenyalang Gold Card is designed to help the elderly to stay independent while actively participating in social activities.

It is a discount or rebate plan provided by the Sarawak government and participating merchants. The card provides discounts on daily necessities and other benefits for the elderly.  It is free to become a cardholder.  Anyone who is 60 years old and above and holding MyKad that carries “K” or a permanent resident of Sarawak can register online at kenyalanggold.com and download the iSarawakCare app to receive gold card information.
