KUCHING: Seven persons are now without a home after their house was razed by fire yesterday (Dec 5).
The Fire and Rescue Department was alerted of the blaze at Kampung Sitang, Jalan Mambong, here at 5.35pm on Monday .
While waiting for the firefighters, villagers grouped together to put out the fire.
They were later assisted by the firemen who extinguished the fire and competed ther task by 7:07pm.
The seven occupants were reportedly safe.
The authorities are investigating the cause of the fire and ascertaining the loss of property.
