KUCHING: Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers’ Association (Sheda) today paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg at his office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia.

Led by its president Dr Christopher Ngui, the visiting entourage included its deputy president Augustine Wong, secretary-general Dr Richard Tan and chairmen of its Kuching, Sibu and Bintulu branches, respectively.

During the courtesy call, Abang Johari gave positive feedbacks on Sheda’s concerns and proposals on how best to cushion and mitigate the imminent consequential impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on the housing and real estate sector and the first-time house buyers among the B40 and M40 targeted groups.

Also present was Urban Development and Natural Resources permanent secretary Datuk Zaidi Mahdi.
