KUCHING: In conjunction with this year’s celebration of Sarawak Day and Malaysia Day, Shine Pharmacy is holding an online writing competition.
According to a statement on Wednesday (Aug 5), the competition, dubbed ‘Write & Win: How I Shine For Sarawak’, is organised to embrace and promote the culture and people of Sarawak.
“There are 13 prizes to give away. The grand prize is RM500; the first runner-up is RM300; the second runner-up is RM100; and ten consolation prizes at RM50 each,” the statement said.
To enter the competition, participants are required to post any self-taken Sarawak-inspired photo on their Facebook and write their Sarawak story under the title ‘How I Shine for Sarawak’ in under 300 words as the caption
They will also have to add in three hashtags — #MySarawakStory, #iShineForSarawak and #ShinePharmacy — and make their post public so that the entry can be seen.
The deadline for the contest is September 13 and winners will be announced on September 16 during the Malaysia Day celebration.
