Short video competition themed ‘Sarawak Government 81 Initiatives’.

KUCHING: There will be a short video competition themed “Sarawak Government 81 Initiatives” starting from July 14 till Sep 18 this year.

The programme is one of Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Sarawak’s (Tegas) efforts to develop a human capital of creative and competitive Sarawakian youth as well as having the Sarawak spirit.

This video competition is organised by Tegas, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Sarawak Multimedia Authority (SMA), Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) and Sarawak Media Group Sdn. Bhd (SMG).

In addition, Tegas hoped through such programme it could further provide exposure and understanding among the youth on the 81 initiatives implemented by the Sarawak government and the importance of it.

Entry for the video contest is free and it is open to youth from Sarawak aged 18 to 35 years old.

Submission can be done individually or in groups with a maximum of five members. Each video must be based on one of the 81 Sarawak government initiatives with a video duration of between five to seven minutes.

The video structure must at least include introduction, importance, problem, resolution, and conclusion.

Interested participants can register via www.tinyurl.com/videotegas81 and the closing date for the video submission is on Sept 18.

The first prize, second prize and third prize winner will get RM2,000, RM1,000 and RM500 respectively. This applies to both categories for individual and group.
