They committed the offense in front of a house at Jalan Menggriss, Taman Sri Wangi around 3.15pm on May 1.

Fearing for their safety, the complainant reported the incident to the police leading to the arrest of the siblings on May 2.

It is understood that the cause of the incident was due to Ishimah expressing dissatisfaction over the divorce process with her husband (complainant’s brother) when her husband’s family did not allow her to enter the house to take her belongings as long as the divorce process was not completed.

Insp Merylene Lindan Andrew Mang prosecuted the case while the siblings were not represented by counsel.
