SIBU: The new public car park at Sibu Hospital is expected to be ready for use by next month (January).
Sibu member of parliament (MP) Oscar Ling said the construction of the car park is nearly done and expected to be ready before Chinese New Year.
“The construction started on November this year and takes nearly two months to complete.
“Hopefully, with the new car park, it will help solve the parking congestion woes that plagued the Sibu populace for the past years,” he told reporters during his inspection on the car park at Sibu Hospital yesterday.
Ling used part of his MP allocation funds for the construction of the RM500,000 new car park.
