SIBU: The Covid-19 Assessment Centre (CAC) at Sibu Indoor Stadium will operate from 9am to 4pm every day, including public holidays.
This was said by the Sibu Divisional Disaster Management Committee (SDDMC) through its statement issued yesterday (Oct 2).
A spokesman said Covid-19 patients who are confirmed positive through RT-PCR and RTK Ag tests including saliva self-tests (symptomatic) who came to the CAC for confirmation tests were advised to make early registration by scanning the QR code.
“They also need to provide their complete information before going to the CAC either by walk-in or making appointments to reduce waiting time.
“The operating hours of the Covid-19 Screening Centre at the indoor stadium are from 9am to 1pm.
“We have a responsibility to continue to adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adopt new norms in daily life even after being fully vaccinated,” he said.
In addition, the spokesperson reminded the public that the Covid-19 vaccine can prevent oneself from the risk of severity if infected.
He added that the public should always monitor themselves and their family members to prevent brought-in-dead (BID) Covid-19 cases.
