SIBU: Police have set up another roadblock (SJR) along Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman throughout the movement control order (MCO) period.

Sibu OCPD ACP Stanley Jonathan Ringgit, in confirming this, said four checkpoints had been set up around the town.

“The existing SJR is at Jalan Sibu-Durin, Jalan Paradom, Jalan Bawang Assan and most recently at Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman near the Sibu/Bintulu roundabout. It began operating on Wednesday,” he said when contacted today.

“The SJR started on Wednesday from 8am with officers manning the checkpoint for 24 hours in shifts.”
