THE tabling of the Forests (Amendment) Bill 2022 is a significant milestone for Sarawak, said Yussibnosh Balo (GPS-Balingian).
He said the tabling of the Bill showed that the Sarawak government was able to focus on the agenda of more balanced development to make the state the best place that everyone wanted to be in the world.
“I wish to record my utmost appreciation to Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan for tabling the Bill.
“He has shown his sincerity to see that the development of our beloved Sarawak is done with great care and order for the benefit of future generations,” he said in support of the Bill in his debate speech yesterday.
Yussibnosh added that the world continued to face the threat of global warming and greenhouse gas effects due to the global quest to improve the livelihood of the people.
“Being human, I am aware that we are not perfect but we are trying to achieve perfection,” he said.
