SELANGAU: A total of 20 Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) Kakus committee members have given their support to Datuk John Sikie to defend the Kakus seat as Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) candidate in the upcoming state election.

According to Tuai Rumah Gilbert Malaka, Sikie is already qualified to represent the people of Kakus based on his excellent record of serving the people.

“We pledge to support Sikie all the way during the 12th state election (PRN12).

“We will not support any other candidates other than him, and we do not want candidates to replace him for the Kakus constituency,” he said.

Gilbert noted that the incumbent is a people-oriented leader and has been coming to the area and the service centre almost every week.

“This year alone, Sikie has been to more than 150 places in Kakus to attend working visits or official government programmes,” he added.
