Simunjan Bomba captures 10-foot croc in Kampung Sabun

SIMUNJAN: The Simunjan Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) successfully captured a 10-foot-long crocodile at Kampung Sabun, yesterday evening (Oct 13).

According to reports, Bomba received a call at 7.38pm from a residence in the area regarding a crocodile in a ditch, prompting a team to be dispatched to the scene.

Upon arriving, the firefighters used a rescue rope to capture the crocodile.

Once the crocodile was successfully captured, the team returned to the station and contacted the Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) for further action.

The operation concluded at 7.55pm.
