SARATOK: A total of 300 food baskets were distributed to members of the Kalaka Branch Single Mothers Association (Pitsa) by Kalaka assemblyman Datuk Abdul Wahab Aziz recently.
The donation was received by Pitsa Kalaka Branch chairperson Saadiah Harun.
Councillor Dayang Rosnah Abang Drashid who represented Abdul Wahab at the handover ceremony hoped that the food aid would help ease the burden faced by single mothers during the movement control order (MCO) period.
“I hope the Pitsa members registered in the three branches, namely Krian, Kabong, and Kalaka, will continue to trust and support the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) government in safeguarding the people’s future especially the needy,” she said.
