KUALA LUMPUR: Sipitang Member of Parliament Yamani Hafez Musa, who is also the son of former Sabah Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman, was sworn-in into the Dewan Rakyat yesterday.
The swearing-in ceremony was held before Dewan Rakyat Speaker Datuk Mohamad Ariff Mohd Yusof in Parliament.
Yamani Hafez is the 222nd and last Member of Parliament to take his oath as member of the Dewan Rakyat after he was not seen in public for more than eight months after the 14th General Election (GE14) on May 9.
He was previously issued a reminder letter to be sworn-in immediately or be disqualified as MP if he fails to do so by Jan 15.-– Bernama
