KUCHING: The Malaysian Red Crescent SJK Chung Hua No 5 will organise an electronic waste (e-waste) collection event at SJK Chung Hua No 5 from 9am until 12pm this coming April 27.
The objective is to minimise e-waste to landfills and to offer the public a safe and secure disposal of out-of-date IT assets and e-waste.
Members of the public can bring along their old, obsolete computer parts, accessories, television, refrigerators and other electrical appliances for recycling. Members of the public can also donate old clothing.
The money collected will be used to carry out community service activities.
It is hoped the public will support this event to help the school to achieve its objective.
