SIBU: SK Abang Ali here has received a funding of RM2.5 million. State Education and Technological Research Assistant Minister Dr Annuar Rapaee, who represented Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg, presented the cheque on Monday. The funding is for a new building in the primary school.
“The state government donated RM2.5 million while another RM1 million is donated by other parties,” said Annuar yesterday.
Meanwhile, SK Abang Ali principal Hamdi Najdi said: “The new building will house a teacher’s room for 70 teachers, a seminar room for 200 people, an administrative room for clerks as well as rooms for the principal and assistant principals.”
