PAKAN: A total of 29 students from SK Nanga Kota near here were exposed to the importance of esprit de corps in every team activity.

They successfully completed the SK Nanga Kota 2023 Badge Scheme Camp, which lasted for three days and two nights.

According to the principal, Ambah Tandang, the main purpose of the camp organised by the SK Nanga Kota Scout Unit was to conduct proficiency badge exams in bronze and silver keris (traditional Malay dagger) for school scout members.

“However, beyond what is stated, we want to foster the spirit of unity – ‘together we stand, divided we fall’ – and the sense of ‘alma mater’ among the camp participants.

“Indeed, this spirit is natural in our daily lives and should not be lost.
