SK Tellian PTA gets grant totalling RM10,000

MUKAH: SK Tellian Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) received a grant totalling RM10,000 from Tellian assemblyman Royston Valentine yesterday.

“The money will be used to construct a stage at the school for the purpose of holding programmes and activities, especially during sports and graduation day.”

Royston said this when officiating at an event here. “We’ll continue to allocate funds to cover expenses for what was agreed during the last PTA meeting,” he added

He stressed that cooperation between parents-guardians and teachers was important. “The PTA plays a vital role ensuring harmony and close ties among stakeholders.”

Also present were SK Tellian headmaster Syazana Abdullah, education officer of the school management sector deputy, Mohammad Shafiq Abdullah, Kampung Tellian Tengah chief Winnie Wena Dominic Lai, KK Kampung Tellian Tradisi Sukor, John Batin, senior administrative assistant Dayang Haisah Awang Lai, head of Parent Support Group Bureau James Anthony.
