JULAU: The body of slain policeman, Lance Corporal Valentino Mesa, was brought back to his village, Rumah Maing, Lubok Besai, Entaih Entabai, here early yesterday.
The body was handed over to the family of the late lance corporal around 2.30am.
He is expected to be buried at Rumah Maing Iban Cemetery tomorrow.
The late Valentino was found dead, shot at close range and stabbed with a sharp object, at the Pinggiran Subang Jaya Police Station in Selangor early Thursday morning.
He was found lying prone at the enquiry counter of the police station, where he had been on duty, by members of a patrol unit that had returned to the station at 3.25am.
