KUCHING: The Darul Hana Development project is steadily progressing, said Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg.

“I believe the first phase of the project can reach completion by the year 2021. The residents of Seberang Hilir will be able to enjoy the development in about two years from now.

“The Darul Hana housing development will become an exemplary model for other ongoing developments in the state,” he said when officiating at the Iftar Ramadan Darul Hana at the Darul Hana Mosque here yesterday.

Abang Johari reminded all relevant agencies to help in the process of relocation later.

He believes that the joint collaboration between the community leaders and the existing agencies in the Darul Hana Project will be able to create an image of an urban village.

Iftar Ramadan Darul Hana is an annual activity organised by Land Custody and Development Authority (LCDA) in collaboration with Darul Hana Mosque Committee and Kampung Seberang Hilir Safety Committee (Jakaseh) to celebrate the holy month together with the less fortunate.
