KUCHING: Want to stay ahead of scammers and avoid being scammed?

The Sarawak State Library is organising a talk programme Adakah Scammer Yang Licik atau Anda Yang Kurang Peka (Are scammers cunning or you’re the one that is less alert?) which will be live-streamed on May 19 from 10.30 am to 11.30 am.

State Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID), Financial Corporate Crime senior investigating officer ASP Arthur Medang Mark Barang Saging, has been invited to the talk.

He will be sharing vital information on how a scammer is able to deceive a victim, the modus operandi used by scammers, and how people will potentially be the next victim of scam.

The talk will be livestreamed on the library’s Facebook page and YouTube Channel as well on Zoom application.
