KUCHING: Charity body Hope Place will distribute handmade soaps and face masks to families under its care.

‘Solution For Life’, a joint-venture project between Hope Place, Hilton Kuching and Eco Lab, has produced many handmade soaps since last year.

“Hope Place will give out the soaps to the needy, including face masks donated by Affin Hwang Asset Management Berhad (Affin Hwang) … about two boxes of face masks per family,” said Kelvin Wan, the founder of Hope Place.

Hope Place also thanked all sponsors, including Hilton Kuching and Affin Hwang, as well as all generous donors, who consistently contribute to helping the needy here.

Due to the recovery movement control order (RMCO), Hope Place will not be accepting any secondhand item for the time being.

Hope Place currently takes care of more than 190 needy families.

For more information, Hope Place can be reached at 013-5672775.

Opening hours are from 8.30am-5.30pm on Mondays until Fridays, and 8.45am-12pm on Saturdays.
