KUCHING: A young soldier was stabbed in his abdomen in an army camp at Penrissen Road near here on Wednesday morning.
The 19-year-old soldier was said to be quarrelling with a colleague when he was stabbed
which caused him to fall and bleed profusely.
He was taken to Sarawak General Hospital with the sharp weapon still
imbedded in his abdomen.
Upon arrival at the hospital doctors immediately operated on the soldier. He is now being warded in the intensive care unit (ICU).
It is not known why he was stabbed. Police are investigating.
